Everyone
has a story
Do you know what yours is?
And how to tell it so people will listen — and care?
I’m a bestselling author and journalist with decades of experience writing for mainstream magazines and newspapers. My work has attracted national media attention in Canada and the U.S. I’ve won multiple National Magazine Awards. I ghostwrite business books, memoirs and thought leadership books for Fortune 500 presidents, high-profile entrepreneurs and global consultants who self-publish and secure publishing deals. One book was a national bestseller.
WENDY DENNIS
I know how to
write stories that
get people talking.
Memorable narratives don’t happen by accident.
Whether you want to expand your business, be sought after for your ideas, or reinvent yourself and go on the speaking circuit, you need a custom narrative to hook your audience and hold their interest in the story you’re telling.
Knowing what to include and what to leave out, what details will bring your story alive, how to structure the narrative so your message will be clear and forceful — that takes experience.
Then you have to find the most powerful way to communicate it.
That takes expertise. And time.
Whatever your story, how you tell it determines whether it will resonate with your audience. Which is why it’s so important to get it right.
That’s where I come in.
Many people aren’t even sure if they have a story.
Often the stories you may think are irrelevant contain storytelling gold. A big part of my job is listening for your story and drawing it out of you. But even when you know the story you want to tell, you might need help packaging it to showcase your message.
Many people I work with don’t know what their story is.
“…Without her expertise, I might have wound up with a dry instruction manual. Instead, I wound up with a conversational guidebook that has doubled my business and provided tons of content I’m using to develop new revenue streams.”

“As an author and ghostwriter, I’m often under extreme time pressure to create books for major publishers. When I need help, I turn to Wendy Dennis. Writing, rewriting, structural editing, interviewing, researching—she does it all, to the highest standard, and is the only person I trust when I need to pull a rabbit out of a hat, fast (not least because she’d come up with a better metaphor).”
